Paul Golding Patent Portfolio

Patents with brief descriptions.

Patent Portfolio

For a patent to be considered or granted, it requires a novel invention. My patents are mentioned here to demonstrate several achievements:

First and foremost that I am an active technical contributor throughout my entire career, pioneering novel techniques that provide competitive advantage.

Secondly, my ideas generate value because only the most valuable ideas get filed due to high overheads (and competition amongst inventors).

Thirdly, the breadth of concepts demonstrates strong generalist mindset with the ability to go deep. This comes by cultivating an understanding of first principles and meta-thinking, both of which are highly correlated to innovation.

Not all my patents are listed because links to filings are missing, or disclosures not published.

Disclosed here are methods, devices, paradigms and structures for creating, displaying and facilitating the selection of art, design and décor. A digital art device (“device”) facilitates creating and displaying a digital art in accordance with the relationship to a viewer.
Filed: 25 July 17
Disclosure is directed to a framework for creating a digital art. A digital art can include multiple digital assets, e.g., an image file, video file, computer generated imagery (CGI) file that can be used to generate various representations of the digital art.
Filed: 16 July 15
The disclosure is related to a décor harmony service (DHS) that facilitates mapping of colors from a color palette to decor accessories in a setting, e.g., a room, such that the décor accessories, when arranged together, appear harmonious to a user
Filed: 24 Oct 17
A hand-off service enables seamless sharing of session data of an online session between a server and a client with additional clients in an application, e.g., art application used for finding décor items.
Filed: 19 Dec 19
Systems and methods are disclosed for generating a harmonized set of décor accessories using one or more harmony descriptors.
Filed: 7 July 16
Technology is disclosed for discovering décor harmonized with a décor style (“the technology”)
